Regarding Vaccination
Our clinic offers a wide range of vaccines, mainly those recommended by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Japanese nationals posted or traveling to Indonesia.
There are many diseases that are less prevalent in Japan but more prevalent in Indonesia.
We recommend that you research and get the necessary vaccinations in advance to protect yourself from diseases that are prevalent in a particular region.

★1 Rabies vaccination after exposure is on a different schedule. Please refer here for details.
Things to bring
Passport
Vaccine Handbook
(Proof of previous vaccinations)
Mother-child handbook
(For children)
For those who received their first or second vaccination in Japan, there may be a delay in receiving their vaccinations compared to the schedule.
Depending on the number of delayed days, a decision may be made whether to re-administer the vaccination from the 1st dose or to continue it midway through the course of the vaccination with an antibody test. Please bring your past vaccination records and consult with us.
What we ask during the medical questionnaire
Name, Age, Sex
Name of desired vaccine (type of vaccine if known)
Vaccination history
Type and date of last vaccination
Pre-existing medical conditions
Allergies to any medications
※Please bring your Vaccine Handbook and in the case of children, your Maternal and Child Health Handbook.
Vaccines produce effective antibodies when administered the required number of times within the prescribed period. Please inform your doctor of your vaccination history at the beginning.
In addition, in Indonesia and Japan, there are different types of vaccines for the same disease.
The number of inoculations may differ depending on the type, so please consult your doctor in advance.
Cases in which vaccinations are not recommended(cases that should be avoided)
In the following cases, it is recommended to refrain from vaccination in order to avoid the worsening of symptoms and any risk of complications,
as well as from the viewpoint of antibody production.
Cases where patients exhibit high fever
Cases where patients had pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., HIV, SCID, etc.)
Cases where patients are receiving other vaccines
Cases where patients are in the middle of pregnancy
However, if the doctor deems it necessary, vaccination may be given priority even in the above situations.
When in doubt, consult a doctor.
Types of vaccines recommended to be administered in Indonesia
Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and Japanese encephalitis vaccines are recommended in Indonesia.
It is also recommended to consider vaccination against typhoid and rabies (see Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website).
Although the occurrence rate of rabies is low, the fatality rate when it does occur is high, so vaccination is recommended if there are concerns.
Please note, however, that additional vaccinations are required if you are bitten even after receiving the vaccination.
