After an incubation period of about one to five weeks, symptoms may begin to appear.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nCommon symptoms include genital pain or itching, pus discharge, abnormal vaginal discharge, and throat inflammation or soreness.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<section id=\"cant\">\n<div class=\"dim\">Route of Transmission<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"usp\" ><br \/>\nUreaplasma is primarily transmitted through sexual contact.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis includes vaginal intercourse, anal sex, oral sex, and deep kissing\u2014any contact involving mucous membranes can lead to infection. In particular, infections of the throat due to oral sex or deep kissing have been reported, making caution necessary.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nEven a single instance of sexual contact with an infected person can result in transmission, so taking preventive measures is crucial.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cant\">\n<div class=\"dim\">Common Symptoms<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"usp\" ><br \/>\nSymptoms of Ureaplasma infection vary depending on the site of infection and the individual, but generally include:<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn men:<br \/>\n-Itching or pain in the genital area<br \/>\n-Pain during urination<br \/>\n-Urethral discharge<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn women:<br \/>\n-Increased or abnormal vaginal discharge<br \/>\n-Itching or pain in the external genital area<br \/>\n-Pain during urination<br \/>\n<br \/>\nCommon symptoms for both genders:<br \/>\n-Sore throat or throat inflammation (pharyngitis)<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIt is important to note that many infected individuals, especially women, may show no symptoms.
